Here's my elevator pitch to drop everything and see this film if you get the chance: Mad Mary is the Irish Moonlight of 2017.

Her best friend, Charlene, is about to get married and Mary is to be her maid of honour.
Back home, everything and everyone has changed.
Seána has awesome acting talent and is like an Irish version of Scarlet Johanson, only considerably better looking ; and with a proper Irish accent.
When Charlene refuses Mary a 'plus one' on the grounds that she probably couldn't find a date, Mary becomes determined to prove her wrong.
Her best friend, Charlene, is about to get married and Mary is maid of honor.
But the the thing that really makes this film outstanding is the existential subtext.
